CYPRIUM
[It is possible that Copper was the oldest metal to be used, around 8700 BC Cyprus was for a long time the country of copper par excellence to the point that the Romans called the metal Cyprium]
| What is not seen is felt... |
This is the argument of the CYPRIUM editorial. Composed of mobgraphs made by audiovisual artist Marcelo Sant Anna , the work seeks expression of wearable meanings showing Odyssee pieces developed in copper, reused from the interior of discarded electronic cables and wires, dialoguing with works by Amilcar de Castro scattered throughout Rio de Janeiro, now in details now in open plans.
Freely inspired by Magritte's work.
